Problems at Home: Separation Anxiety

It Can Be Overwhelming when… Your dog can’t cope with being alone.

Does your dog panic, bark, or destroy things when left alone?

Separation anxiety can turn every departure into a stressful, guilt-ridden experience. Whether it’s whining, destructive behavior, or accidents in the house, it can leave you feeling trapped and worried about your dog’s well-being.

You love your dog, but you need solutions that actually work. With so much advice out there, it’s hard to know how to truly help your dog feel safe when you’re not home.

This is where I come in. 👋

My Solution: Compassionate, Science-Based Support

Let’s tackle this together.

I understand how heartbreaking and exhausting it can be to watch your dog struggle with separation anxiety. That’s why my approach focuses on identifying the root causes of their anxiety and creating a tailored plan to help them feel secure when left alone—no quick fixes, just kind and effective strategies.

My methods are grounded in science and empathy, helping your dog gradually build the confidence to self-settle, so you can leave the house worry-free.

3 Steps to Success

1️⃣ Assess and Understand: Identify what’s triggering your dog’s separation anxiety. Is it a fear of being alone, past trauma, or changes in their environment? Understanding the root cause sets the foundation for a lasting solution. Your dog deserves to feel safe, and you deserve peace of mind.

2️⃣ Meet Their Needs and Guide Learning: Create a structured routine that meets your dog’s physical and emotional needs while gradually introducing positive associations with being alone. Through ethical training and confidence-building exercises, we’ll help your dog learn to self-settle.

3️⃣ Review and Adjust for Lasting Results: I’ll support you every step of the way. We’ll review progress and make adjustments as needed, ensuring that your dog’s unique needs are met. My ongoing 1:1 support ensures a smoother, stress-free transition for both you and your dog.
